Craft Estate, nestled beside the across-river bridge in Nonthaburi, Thailand, emerges as a distinctive triangular architectural gem, offering a vibrant co-leisure hub with craft beer, coffee, bars, and restaurants.

Unveiling Architectural Uniqueness

Spanning approximately 1,270 square meters, Craft Estate occupies a triangular site between the across-river bridge and a public park. The innovative triangular design aims to accentuate the site’s distinctiveness, translating it into a captivating architectural form. The trapezoidal floor plan, dictated by maximum allowable volume, exhibits an inclined volume ranging from 12 to 17 meters, culminating in a quirky apex oriented towards the Chaophraya River. The functional space of 1,400 square meters is intelligently compartmentalized, with the building facade perceptually divided into distinct zones catering to restaurant and office functionalities.

Functional Brilliance: Restaurant and Office Integration

Craft Estate seamlessly integrates restaurant and office spaces within its innovative framework. The restaurant area, occupying the building’s quirk, boasts a soaring four-story height, accommodating a coffee stand, craft beer bar, indoor and semi-outdoor dining areas, and a rooftop hang-out space. On the opposite side, the three-story office space offers ample room for workstations, meeting areas, and executive offices. Exteriorly, the architect opted for white translucent fiberglass and precast concrete materials, delineating the conceptual cutting of the building.

Aesthetic Flourish: Illuminating Design Elements

Craft Estate’s facade exudes a captivating aesthetic allure through the strategic use of materials. White translucent fiberglass roofing tiles adorn the building facade, allowing diffused natural light to permeate the interior spaces, creating an ethereal ambiance. By night, the exterior facade comes alive with a luminous glow, courtesy of carefully orchestrated lighting effects, illuminating its surroundings and casting a mesmerizing glow on the architectural canvas.
